The first fifteen days of January 2026 felt slower than most days of 2025. We did so much movement, spent a lot of time with mom, my sis, and my man, and I’m happy with how the year started. If I had to describe this month in one word, it would be “privileged”. My sister and I are both on a work-from-home setup. That means we don’t necessarily spend hours getting ready, commuting, or sitting in traffic, and that extra time gives us room to do more than just work. Because of that, we have the opportunity to do other things like more movement. So, we spent most of our time working out and running. I officially started working on January 3. Then, on January 7, I set a small personal goal of a minimum 50 squats daily—whether it was a fitness day, a workday, or a rest day.
